Access to the deck was not simple with a small garden wall and steps to negotiate, and as you could imagine the stumps were old and very hard to cut with the chain saw to a suitable height to stump grind. In this instance grinding was also limited to a depth just below the floor joist. This was all that was needed to re-lay new decking boards over the whole structure.
